Vanished In A Flash

"What a great Laadu!" Dad said as he slowly took a titillating bite of sweet meat he was holding. " Its delicious! All you have to do is place it in your mouth and your taste buds does the rest. It simply melts on your tongue with your saliva drooling at the side of your mouth!"
"Tight squeeze!" thought Sagar as he looked up at Dad who had taken the laadu which Sagar was aiming. "Damn! Why does he never forget about the Laadu? Got to be more alert with Dad hanging around downstairs oresle i will never get a Laadu."
"Look at all those nuts they add in the Laadu these days they create a variety of different type of Laadu to attract more customers." Dad said as he took another bite. " Its no wonder we don't get bored eating sweet meats."
" And the population of diabetes are increasing as the days pass," added Mum, she wonders why Indian people simply love to engulf themselves with sweet meat. Not just do they eat sweet meat on festival days but also for tea breaks and as deserts after meals. "Does that mean there will be more job opportunity for doctors?"
"your sense of sarcasm is really strong," Dad said. "I get where you are going, why do you buy sweet meat if you are not going to eat and have others' eat them as well? Anyway its just once in a while we eat it, like probably 5 times a year. During our festivals? It makes a meaning and gives us joy when we have something sweet in out mouth. Want some? I know you want it, come on! just one bite. It gives you pleasure!"
"What if i dont want that plesure? All i can think of when i see sweet meat is of the displeasure the illness would give by eating them." Mum, who was watching a movie on TV about some child who got lost on the streets asked.
" I dont think taking 1 bite would bring on a whole life time illness?" sounding pretty much confused about health science.
" Yes it would, if i eat one today, i would want another tomorrow and the following day. It might even get my  desire of adding an extra sweet to the day's collection." Mum went on, "Isn't that bad? I might sound old fashion but i want to live long being able to not deprive myself from choices of food."
"Oh darling! Where is your self-control? its mind over heart! you got to have that control over your desire. Speaking about depriving, aren't you not depriving yourself from sweet meats?" Dad debated back.
"I might be missing a point somewhere." Mum trailed off.
" The point is you are missing the main kick of life! SWEET MEAT RULES IT ALL!"
" Is that so?" Mum  thought for a while the last time she had a sweet meat.
"Oh their endless debates on patty topics is simply driving me crazy!" Sagar thought finishing up the left over Laddu which Dad had left on the dry kitchen top. Dad and Mum had left for shopping.
"Oh gosh! why does the kitchen top got to be so high." Sagar went on thinking the amount of scolding Sandhya was going to get for being mistaken of having eatten the Laadu as usual. If any food went missing in the house, the blame either falls on Sagar or her. But according to Mum today Sagar is suppose to be suffering with a tummy upset so she left the Laadu trusting he won't touch it. As he was getting off the kitchen top he used his tail to dust some crumbs on the kitchen top and few bits on the floor making it look like a mess done by Sandhya.
" Pay back time!" thought Sagar with an evil grin, exposing his cute broken rice teeth with a spacing between his two bottom front tooth.
